Department of Dancesport, a professor, an international-class sport dancer, a Merited Cultural and Educational Worker of Lithuania (the title awarded in 1985), a Merited Artist of Lithuania (1990), an international-category dancesport adjudicator, a Merited Coach of Lithuania (1996). Since 1971 she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Klaipėda University. She has been Head of the Department of Sport Dances, an assistant professor (1992), and a professor of arts (1997).

In 1974 she was awarded the international Class S. In 1975 she became the laureate of the All-Union contest in Kiev. From 1975 to 1981 she was a member of the USSR national team. She has been the champion and a prize winner at numerous contests.

Since 1965 she has been the chief coach and the chief ballet-master of Klaipėda dancesport club Žuvėdra, the chief ballet-master of schoolchildren's song and dance festivals (1980, 1985). Under her leadership, the dancesport formation team Žuvėdra became the USSR champion (1988), won the titles of European (1999, 2001, 2003) and World champions (1999, 2002, 2003). Žuvėdra has won other prizes on 13 occasions.

Ona Skaistutė Idzelevičienė is a member of the Lithuanian Union of Sport Dance Professionals. In 1997 she was awarded the 5th degree Order of Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas, whereas in 1999 she was awarded the 4th degree Order of Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas. In 2003 she was awarded the Order For Merits to Lithuania and the Commander's Cross.

Together with Žuvėdra formation team she gave concerts in Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Moldavia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, England, Austria, Holland and Cuba.

   ROMALDAS IDZELEVIČIUS

Assistant professor of the Department of Dancesport. A former international-class sport dancer, a Merited Artist of Lithuania (1990), a Merited Coach of Lithuania (1996).

In 1981 he graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic Institute. Since 1993 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Dancesport of the Faculty of Arts of Klaipėda University; an assistant professor since 1999. His dancing career extended from 1966 to 1981. In 1974 he was awarded the international Class S. In 1975 he became the laureate of the 2nd All-Union contest in Kiev. A member of the USSR national team in 1975-1981. The champion and a prize winner at numerous contests.

Since 1971 he has been a coach of Klaipėda dancesport club Žuvėdra.

A member of the Lithuanian Dancesport Federation and Chairman of the Coach Board. In 1997 he was awarded the 5th degree Order of Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas, whereas in 1999 he was awarded the 4th degree Order of Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas. In 2003 he was awarded the Order For Merits to Lithuania and the Commander's Cross. Together with Skaistė Idzelevičienė he has danced in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, the Ukraine, Armenia, Latvia and Estonia.

An international-category dancesport adjudicator (since 1985). He has worked as a referee at contests in Russian, the Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Spain.
