Gala evening of the competition starts at 19.00, during which the quarter-final, semi-final and the final of 2023 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard will be held. Also, spectators will have an opportunity to see semi-finalists and finalists of WDSF International Open Latin, as well as the best shows of Lithuanian dancers!
The Gala evening will feature the best performance of the World and European Breaking champion Dominika Banevič-Bgirl Nicka! The World Hip Hop champion Edgaras Kerpė and his group will impress you with synchronized dancing! Live music and singers are prepared already to inspire the best dancers of Europe and the best audience of the European Championship!
2023 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard will be held in one of the biggest arenas of Lithuania – „Avia Solutions Group“ arena. Ozo str. 14, Vilnius, Lithuania.
“Avia Solutions Group” arena was the first international-standard multi-purpose arena in Lithuania and now hosts major entertainment, sports and business events, such as concerts by world and local music stars, various international sports competitions, performances, theatrical shows, business seminars and congresses.
The Arena was built in just 12 months and opened its doors to visitors on October 30, 2004. Arena hosted WDSF World and European Championships for several times, and this year it is open for such a big event after a modern renovation.
We suggest you to come by plane, by bus, by train and of course – by car.
By plane. The nearest airport is Vilnius International Airport (VNO). RyanAir, WizzAir, AirBaltic and other companies have flights to Vilnius, so we could find cheap and comfortable flights. Distance from Vilnius International Airport to the venue is 12 km (15 minutes by car and 40 minutes by public transport). Distance from Vilnius International Airport to city centre is 7 km (12 minutes by car and 30 minutes by public transport).
You could also try Kaunas International Airport (KUN). RyanAir and WizzAir are operating cheap flights here. Distance from Kaunas International Airport to the venue and Vilnius city centre is 110 km (1,5 hour by car and 3 hours by public transport).
By bus and by train. Vilnius central bus station and Vilnius railway station are situated in the city, near each other. Distance from those stations to the venue is 7 km (15 minutes by car and 40 minutes by public transport). Distance from stations to city centre is 3 km (5 minutes by car and 20 minutes by public transport).
